I don't know why adding a torque setting is merged with this idea. They seem very different to me. I think we should be able to set acceleration (not just top speed) so a 30-ton tank doesn't do 0-60 in 2.5 seconds but is still strong enough to climb a hill.

And a transmission block would be very nice also it's hard to make a good off-road vehicle with no way to vary your torque output

Different engine sounds would be nice if nothing else it's kind of a bummer when you car is pushing 1000+ horses but still sounds like a Toyota yaris

This is definitely needed. Not only for crawling, but I made the patty wagon (crabby patty car) from SpongeBob, and even weighing like 7k pounds and with 50hp, it would do over 160mph

Yes we should definitely have torque settings. It would be extremely useful for both ends of cars; race cars and crawlers

Sometimes people want vehicles that are able to climb hills without stopping yet are not excessively fast

Add an option for even more horsepower in the car engines.
