  1. Allow user to submit challenges, like:

    Landing on other planets
    Landing rovers
    Making a return trip from the moon
    Smupiter altitude challenge
    Add comets
    Change starting position of orbiting bodies
    Add more moons
    Etc..

    Please for the sake of all man and woman kind fix the orientation.. Landing a rover on Saturn upsidedown is unnecessary!!

  2. Add Chromecast support when the SDK is available.

    Add the ability to cast the live view to the TV and use the phone as the controller and display the map view.

  3. Add Music

    A bit of well chosen music that fits the atmosphere of the given game always makes that game that much more fun and immersive.
    I recommend a Space Noise sounding "Song" because the game is set in Space. An entire Solar System! And you get to travel from planet to planet (more or less) in real time, making the majority most of any interplanetary trip in space.

  5. Smupiter altitude challenge

    Seems simple enough, and based on my experiences escaping from SOI should be neigh impossible.

    It would also push rocket builders to the limit; it takes careful design to prevent the rocket from crushing itself prior to takeoff, careful balancing of thrust to prevent it accelerating too fast in atmos, thruster positioning to prevent it ripping itself apart... I can land anything, anywhere and if its an inner smanet, return my budding little commies back home again too, but i can't push past 3k above the surface.

  6. Add a campaign mode

    You should make a campaign mode, for example: you have a certain amount of money to build a ship. Then you need to complete different objectives and missions (such as: achieve orbit on smearth, or: land on the smoon) to get more money to build better ships.
    The main goal would be to build a space station where you can refuel your ships and research new parts.
    Or you could try to build a space station on the smoon.

  7. A "help" section, or an active reddit/r/simplerockets plugin in-game.

    I oftentimes find myself confused on where to find the latest and greatest news on the game, and finding peoples recommended rockets can be very challenging. Maybe a dedicated "share" and "help" menu could be added? You know, browse the forum from within the app, and view and download other users rockets to try them out for yourself, or modify them and call them your own.

  8. Ion Engines Battery Compartments and Super Capacitors

    1. Ion Engines. Ion Engines Would behave like normal engines except that they would draw power from Battery Compartments Super Capacitors and Nuclear Reactors. I have names in mind for them; Ion 12, Ion 42, Ion 120 and Ion 390.

    2. Battery Compartments. Battery Compartments would be for Ion Engines what Fuel Tanks are for Engines, only Rechargeable using Engines and/or Solar panels and/or Nuclear Reactors. However over time they become resistant to Recharging as well as holding less power, eventually becoming useless for the rest of that mission. This effect would be imperceptible when discharging or not in use…

    Modify the ship editor to allow a "copy and paste" function for ship sections. This would speed up large builds enormously! Perhaps by dragging or building the desired section into a box area at the side of the screen, then a button to 'print' replicas.

  10. Allow parts to connect to more than one other.

    When building a large rocket it is hard to determine which object my current selection should connect to. A confirmation box (a box with tick/crosses for valid edges, greyed out for no connectivity) of which edges need to be connected. If one edge is only possible then the confirmation message could be ignored (nose cone). This idea could also be used to sharing fuel tanks so you could make 1 big tank for an engine either horizontally, vertically or both.

    This will add rigidity to tall rockets where there is only one connecting edge at the top of the segment.

  11. Super Parts

    1. Nuclear Reactor. A Nuclear Reactor would function like a Battery Compartment or Super Capacitor but be SUPER heavy (despite being the size of the Sloshy T 1500) never need Recharging and Recharge Battery Compartments and Super Capacitors.

    2. Plazma Drive (misspelling on purpose). Plazma Drive would be a ridiculously heavy and powerful Engine consuming Fuel and/or Power at equally ridiculous rates. It would not be compatible with a Nuclear Reactor. (perhaps because of instability over 60% output?) I have a name in mind for it; Thunderstorm 6000. It's description; Experimental high output Engine. Details Top Secret.

  12. add RCS thrusters to move ship wile engins are off

    Its a truble moveing your ship with only the ships engines and can mess up you orbits and trjectorytrjectory

  15. Multiplayer

    The ability to launch rockets in a world where your friends can race or contribute towards your space programe. This would become more fun if you could dock and build space station. Wether you play co-op or competitively is up to you and your friends. See which one of your group is the rocket scientist.

  17. Add a 'Details' button information about each part.

    For example: once clicked an overview tab would come showing the key info on an item, such as it's mass, This would be good for the engines as it could also show the rate at which they burn fuel. i.e. Blasto 425 burns at 125 L/s @100%.

  18. Add an Orion Nuclear Pulse Engine

    Add a Orion Nuclear Pulse Engine, that is fast, but heavy, not as manuverable as regular liquid engines, can't use liquid fuel (add new tanks for nuclear bombs, but they should be heavier and bigger than a normal liquid fuel tank) and you can't land with it ( because you can't land with an engine using nukesas propellants ,unless you want to land in an pile of dust, that was a planet before your arrival ) and if you try, the ship will explode

  20. add an automated flight planner

    So you can just tell the game what to do, such as:
    1) Increase throttle to 100%
    1) Activate launch stage
    2) Fly for 20 seconds
    3) Activate next stage
    4) Turn to 45 degrees
    5) Fly for 10 seconds
    etc
