Add a save option for sandbox mode.
It sucks when you spend 10 minutes getting to X and then screw up on the landing. It would be nice to save your place right before you land.

Add Music
A bit of well chosen music that fits the atmosphere of the given game always makes that game that much more fun and immersive.
I recommend a Space Noise sounding "Song" because the game is set in Space. An entire Solar System! And you get to travel from planet to planet (more or less) in real time, making the majority most of any interplanetary trip in space.35 votesThis is now completed in SimpleRockets 2, which is now available for iOS, Android, PC, and Mac:

What should be in the next update!
I think I speak for a lot of the rocketeers out there that these should be implemented!:
- Struts
- Different types of capsules
- SOI detector to cut back on guessing
- Symmetry for building
- Probes
- A way to build horizontallySome things that could be fixed!:
- Smooth out the planets/moons so rovers can travel farther
- Game's HUD is covered up when getting notifications on iOS and can mess you up when flying
- Sometimes the game crashing when you get notifications. Thanks for being an awesome developer!

Make it easier to organize the rocket stages
When building a large rocket I find that I have re-arrange the different parts, so that they go off in a proper sequence. I'll have a rocket booster in stage 7, when it should be down in stage 1. So I hoping that you could make it so that the parts organize themselves according to the positions of the detachers, or something like that.

The staging editor has been improved. I know it was frustrating. Sorry about that!

Bug - Fix the fuel tank stacking bug.
When you connect a fuel tank to your ship, and then add another tank on top of that one, it will not add any more fuel to the engine. This is a bug in the game and a workaround is to make sure the top-most fuel tank is connected to the ship first.

so the community can make a texture pack.

Acceleration and Deceleration
I would like to see my acceleration and deceleration. It would be cool to maybe have meters per second squared right under the speed display. However, you could have it where acceleration is displayed in green (ie. launch, prograde burn, gravity pull, etc.) and deceleration is displayed in red or maybe a negative sign (ie. retrograde burn, gravity pull again, entering an atmosphere, etc.)
It would be helpful in comparing how adding more weight to your rocket without adding engines or vice versa affects the performance.

Being able to use keyboard controls for the PC version
I cannot seem to be able to use any other control than my mouse, I'd love to be able to use my keyboard instead...
16 votesYou can use arrow keys to steer, and space to activate next stage, and number keys and +/- to control throttle. Spacebar locks and unlocks heading.
-
Do something with navigational circle
The heading circle is too much visual clutter. Have it dimmer or only have it show up when touching the screen and then disappear when removing finger from screen.

Display relative velocity (and maybe acceleration)
It's kinda hard to tell which way (and how fast) you are moving at times (with respect to an object). A simple couple of vector lines or something would help a lot. Especially in cases when you are zoomed too far in to see the object around you, or too far out to capture much detail of you (relative) change in position. Right now, you have to watch the numbers ticking away, and do some quick math to figure this out.

Cargo bays/items
I think an interesting idea would be to have pieces that can act as opening and closing bays for things you want to transport to stations, satelites and other things

Add Savefiles.
Add savefiles so we can have 2 ships at the same time. I.e a space station orbiting Smearth while a rover is exploring Smars.
