    I think an interesting idea would be to have pieces that can act as opening and closing bays for things you want to transport to stations, satelites and other things

  6. Incorporate the Solar Panels more into the game

    Have the solar panels do more then just look cool, like have them charge some sort of electric engine or something, because right now they are useless

  7. Show trajectory in different SOI

    Would be useful for lunar/interplanetary trips. The ability to see your periapsis in an encounter before arriving at the SOI, being able to see your trajectory around the sun while still in a planet's SOI (for making use of the oberth effect). This would also allow accurate slingshots.

  8. Magnetic autocorrection docking ports

    It is great that docking was added but the docking ports are horrible. Docking is very hard as of now without killrot and with unbalanced RCS, also when you dock, your docking plug won't be parallel to the docking adapter, thus making stations look ugly. Building long interplanetary ships will make me look like a snake and wobbly.

    Such as a construction base satellite. Once in orbit and activated, it will appear on the planets list. Giving you the ability to build and launch a ship straight from the satellite!

  11. Add center of mass/thrust indicator when building rocket

    With the addition of RCS control, I find it difficult to place the thrusters such that the rocket's control is balanced. For example, translating left might also cause a slight rotation if the thrusters are not placed symmetrically about the center of mass. However there is currently no way to see where the center of mass is, other than trial and error.

  12. Add a cargo bay part to hold rovers, etc.

    A large box shaped part in which you can put your rover so when you land it opens up and the rover comes out.
    make it so you can shut the cargo door and fly back with the rover.

  15. Acceleration and Deceleration

    I would like to see my acceleration and deceleration. It would be cool to maybe have meters per second squared right under the speed display. However, you could have it where acceleration is displayed in green (ie. launch, prograde burn, gravity pull, etc.) and deceleration is displayed in red or maybe a negative sign (ie. retrograde burn, gravity pull again, entering an atmosphere, etc.)

    It would be helpful in comparing how adding more weight to your rocket without adding engines or vice versa affects the performance.

  19. orientation of planet with gravity

    If you start to land at any angle that isnt on the top of the planet, the view is static, and confusing. Views should be relative!!!

  20. Add Music

    A bit of well chosen music that fits the atmosphere of the given game always makes that game that much more fun and immersive.
    I recommend a Space Noise sounding "Song" because the game is set in Space. An entire Solar System! And you get to travel from planet to planet (more or less) in real time, making the majority most of any interplanetary trip in space.
