Please enable a different encounter system that tells us if a ship is going to actually collide with a planet or jut flying by.

The current encounter system does tell you if you are going to get an encounter (meaning your closest point is within the planet's SOI) which is indicated by a blue X. If you don't encounter, then you get a gray C. Check out the subreddit for more info:
