  1. Realistic aerodynamics in atmosphere, with mach compression effects, transonic effects..

    KSP had FAR, a mod which gave me more than 700 hours of fun doing realistic aerodynamic planes, SSTOs, and rockets. It would be really awesome to have a similar realistic aero system in SR2 so we can re create and fly an SR-71 or some hypersonic SSTO with proper realistic flying characteristics.

  2. Re-entry Procedure

    Re-entry procendure and heat shields. Not just for the crew capsule, but for bigger ships aswell. For example, a mars entry and earth return. That was will fantastic if possible, extremely realistic.

  5. Add part that you can add to your ship that would auto dock with a selected ship entity with a docking plug/port.

    Docking as a newer player in orbit is almost impossible without hours of trial and error. There needs To be a piece that you can add to your ship that would allow for auto docking with a selected entity.

  6. Have the physics engine include information for after you enter a planet's sphere of influence

    Currently the line stops at the sphere of influence when encountering a planet. If the line continued to show what would happen after that point, the physics engine could be used to plan for gravity slings or less fuel needed to enter an orbit.

  7. The ability to attach a part to more than one other.

    One of the things that always bugged me is how you could only attach one part to one other at a time. In other words you can't attach a strut to two detaches.

    <these parts use electricity>
    Base foundation- after triggered, the bases can build and launch from that location
    Gatling guns- uses ammo
    Explosive- explodes, can be set off by impact, sensor, Manual
    Hack com- lets u hack and take control of other rockets.
    Coms- gives you the ability to switch control between your rockets.
    Com tower foundation- when it lands it sets up a coms tower, witch gives you control of com linked rockets.
    Com jammer- blocks opponent's coms

    Nuclear reactor- generates lots of electricity, but uses radioactive materials

  9. Add stuff to planets

    Populate the planets with stuff like cities and seas on smearth as well as artifacts on other planets just to give you stuff to explore.

  10. "Manned" space flight

    Give us an astronaut in the capsule in sandbox mode. Let us take him to the smoon and other smplanets to walk around, etc. We could keep track of his accomplishments. Try and build his career. If the unfortunate happens and he doesn't make it home from a mission? Would add extra considerations for aborting missions, potentially forcing decision points for his safe return.

  11. Add a campaign mode

    You should make a campaign mode, for example: you have a certain amount of money to build a ship. Then you need to complete different objectives and missions (such as: achieve orbit on smearth, or: land on the smoon) to get more money to build better ships.
    The main goal would be to build a space station where you can refuel your ships and research new parts.
    Or you could try to build a space station on the smoon.

  12. Modding support for mobile devices?

    Android devices have an build in file browser and iOS can have that too with jailbreaking, so installing mods shouldn't be impossible.

    So you can just tell the game what to do, such as:
    1) Increase throttle to 100%
    1) Activate launch stage
    2) Fly for 20 seconds
    3) Activate next stage
    4) Turn to 45 degrees
    5) Fly for 10 seconds
    etc

    The ability to launch rockets in a world where your friends can race or contribute towards your space programe. This would become more fun if you could dock and build space station. Wether you play co-op or competitively is up to you and your friends. See which one of your group is the rocket scientist.

  16. Have a View of the ship in one corner whilst in map

    In map view you cannot see the status of the ship, ( ie which stages are still to go) so a small image of the current status of the ship during map view would be great.

  20. Add "Unlock" Feature

    When you land somewhere that is not a starting location e.g. Ganymede jr or Smalleys Comet, you "unlock" the location and can start there
