Tailhook and Arresting gear for carrier landings
I'd love to land some of my slightly mad designs on the aircraft carriers for fun. VTOL is something I can't use for many aircraft designs but an tailhook and arresting gear would allow some really fun challenges.

It's actually not too hard to design a working tailhook. One of my models, the P5 and P6 both have working tailhooks, except they need trap wires on the carriers to fully work.

Some ideas for new parts in the future

I want to see some useful new parts. I can really only think of three at the moment.
1. Extenders. These are like hydraulic pistons. Use these solo to change the dimensions of your plane in flight or to lower a missile-launching pod from inside the plane. Use them in conjunction with rotators to make systems like in a loader. The edit controls should be like a rotator.
2. Rope/Wire/Cable. These could be used in old-fashioned airplanes as decoration, or in boats/floatplanes to attach an anchor. These must have attachment points at both ends. A winch is optional but recommended. In a pinch, a modded rotator could be used.
3. Large landing gear. Let's face it. I shouldn't have to have someone mod me some large landing gear out of curved bricks or settle for some small gear if I want to build a big plane. Either add a new landing gear piece or add a diameter and width editor for the current landing gear.Keep in mind that if you can only accommodate one request, these are in 1-2-3 order of best to worst.

Pretty straight forward. Put allow the user to select to enable catapults or arresting cables on the land runways, and hopefully one day see an aircraft carrier off the coast of the island
