Add an automated flight planner
So you can just tell the game what to do, such as:
1) Increase throttle to 100%
1) Activate launch stage
2) Fly for 20 seconds
3) Activate next stage
4) Turn to 45 degrees
5) Fly for 10 seconds
etc

It would be cool to have it, but it would make the game more easy, and the purpose is to make it hard (because rocket science is hard)

No. Andrew said it’s hard.

Flight planning would not make the game too easy as suggested. For many people, flight planning would be quite a challenge. I doubt many people know how to calculate transfer orbits. It would be quite educational.

Using something like this for rendezvousing with a space station would be amazing, and make it much more fun.

I would want it to be for one stage of the rocket while you control the other. I really want to launch a satellite into orbit and then create an autonomous code for the first stage to land itself just like SpaceX! It wouldn’t be too easy just to code it and have it go to the destination because I’d have to figure out how much to turn it and how long for it to burn and at how much power.
Who else thinks that this would be suuppppperrrrrr cool?

Also, on the other hand (I just thought of this) if they made it so you could have one rocket on autopilot and control another you could essentially create a falcon 9 or something similar so I actually kind of want this now.
Basically what I mean by this is you send a rocket up, Stage 2 separates and does a burn to bring it into LEO but does it on autopilot. Meanwhile, you take control of the orbital booster and do a back burn, reentry burn, and landing burn and bring it safely back down for a landing.

Perhaps instead of a flight planner, it can be a flight planner and combined Maneuver node system (Like in KSP). I wish that KSP had a flight planner though. I also think that we should get basic information about our spacecraft (Similiar to what Kerbal Engineer does).
