I keep thinking about VR. So a pilot? Yes it would be nice. Avatar? similar idea with completely different consequences for the gaming environment especially if you are heading towards multi-player.

I have a recommendation for you, if in simplerockets 2 you have a controllable character why don't you put a character in simpleplanes too? I know that in the past there was a piece called passenger_1 so reuse it for that. this is my idea if you add it will make many players happy including me.

it will be great if you add pilots, passengers, it will be a good experience walking around the airport and aircraft. modernize airports by adding some lights on the apron, runway, ATC tower. Add lights that light up the world .Add a custom engine maker. Add some ballistic missiles for SAM.

That would be cool

like the astronauts in SR2, we could control them, put them in our planes and send them to certain doom. and ejection seats so we can escape our pilots safely.

I like this but I think they should be fairly normal looking characters rather than kerbals. And not low geometry ones either.

Add trees to the terrain and add lava coming out of the volcano and my biggest request is make a mode where your pilot can come out of the plane and walk around the baces like how ksp does

But maybe name the characters after really pilots or heros or something like say one scientist character for england be something like R.j or Mitch/Mitchel in homage to the spitfire designer R.J Mitchel or a pilot for germany be called Baron as a tribute to manfred von richthofen or a canadian pilot be Bill or Bishop for William A. Bishop just a suggestion though
