Some suggestions for new update
This suggestions may be hard but the community can wait I think and take time putting these ideas on the game:
Add a larger WW2 fleet with a larger WW2 Aircraft Carrier with Machine gun AAs on it and add two larger ships on it and a spawn point for players. This fleet will be near at the older WW2 fleet but make it a little farther from it.
Add a WW2 Japanese fleet facing the opposite side of the older WW2 fleet and make the Japanese ships a little different from the older ones and add a spawn point…

More utility and parts for Air combat
- Customizable ship radar, plane radar and small car radar or 'Car GPS' parts.
- Craft must have radar to use missile type weapons and track other craft.
- Evolved countermeasure/ECM system.
- Craftable missile: rocket motor, seeker, missile wing, warhead, etc.
- Aerodynamical looks wing.

some proper engines and engine sounds
SR2 has okay engines, the prop engines sound awful, so why not fix that?

post processing & visual rework
the same visual upgrades SR2 has. ambient occlusion, bloom.

Add a functioning multi-function-display
Such as many planes have are multi function displays that show many features of the planes.

Build mode updates
I think the build mode needs some updates
1: you should be able to test rotators, hinges, control surfaces, etc all inside the build mode, so you don't have to load into a game.
2: More visual statistics, seeing where drag is occurring and how much drag, and not just red to white coloration, also of how much lift your getting and where your getting it, like showing arrows going along the bottom of the wing and the top of the wing, red for no lift, green for alot of lift and varys color or even more in depth.

1.add the traditional joystick(like boeing's joystick)
2.add the airliner throttle including the flap and trim lever
3. add the plane atitude indicator(or screen with different modes)

Screen Monitor
It'd be great if there was a screen monitor part to connect with a camera so that way you can pretty much see everything without having to switch from camera to camera individually. So many things can be done and they can be a lot of fun.

i think simple planes requires rain.
When it lands on a plane/vehicle, it will stop. Maybe if possible it could drip from glass onto the ground (and then disappear).

Plane classification
Being able to classify your plane as a land target or more specifically as a boat or a car and maybe a way to better suit the ai to drive your planes

Track IR head tracking
iPhone apps like “SmoothTrack: Head Tracker” work with games that support FreeTrack or TrackIR protocol. With the new VR version, a head tracker would be very useful for mobile users who’s phones have head tracking built in! Imagine playing and leaning towards your phone to see the cockpit controls better, while peeking up at the runway with hands on the controls the whole time! That’s an experience I’d pay for.

Saving blueprints to build files
Tired of changing blueprints and resizing then to be millimetre perfect?
With this feature you wouldn’t have to be!
This means that once you have the blueprint in place - you don’t need to worry about moving it again if you decide you want to work on another build.22 votes -

I downloaded Simpleplanes, and I love it. Great graphics, the game is fun and entertaining. I think that a great idea for a game to make would be a train Sim. If you based a map off of Florida, and put all of its trains (CSX, Amtrak, BrightLine, and SunRail), I would definitely download it.

Glas cockpits
I would like transparent cockpits as I can make them vr compatible with glass fuselages and other things in a much simpler way.
