Add a campaign mode
You should make a campaign mode, for example: you have a certain amount of money to build a ship. Then you need to complete different objectives and missions (such as: achieve orbit on smearth, or: land on the smoon) to get more money to build better ships.
The main goal would be to build a space station where you can refuel your ships and research new parts.
Or you could try to build a space station on the smoon.

I think knowing how much your build would cost to make in real life would be cool it would also allow for challenges like under £1500 racer challenges also adding a dogfight tournament that would be cool having the tournament show who makes the best fighter

Anonymous if you spent money on this game why didn't you just buy kgsp I'd you wanted that kind of stuff

You could also gain research points by exploring. You could then spend research points to research new technologies.

I would like there to be more "objective" in the game, maybe a career mode, a way to collect samples of other planets, space mining, EVA reports. I would also like struts like in KSP and more powerful rockets!

Also, you need surface mapping satellite modules in a sphere of influence in order to actually see the surface beyond a certain distance, and therefore know where different resources are. Planet surfaces never resolve outside of the view distance without a probe in orbit around the planet.

Any launch facilities on other planets require 3 gps satellites in orbit as well as landing whatever modules cannot be constructed from available resources. Fuel must be landed there if it cannot be made there. New crew must be landed to continue operation if not colonized (in hardcore mode). Also, terraforming made available but takes a long long time to put planets into habitable ranges where reapplies to colonies are no longer needed. Atmospheres can be designated in percentages of a few gasses and specific changes must be made using different kinds of terraforming modules. Planets with water can put oxygen into the atmosphere while using hydrogen for fuel? Co2 as ice or gas can be converted into o2 and carbon. These converters can fill tanks or release into the atmosphere
This is a lot but any level of this would add a lot of replayability to the game. On Reddit people are making up their own scenarios for why they need to dock or reach other planets. Don't make us play makebelieve. An open no rules sandbox is only fun for so long before there's no point or reward anymore. Thanks so much for an awesome game though!!!!

It would be great to be able to create space stations in orbit and on the surface. Also give us a reason to land in particular places on a planet/moon. Give us a reason to need to use the moon as a base for other operations. Let us craft certain things on specific bodies based on the available resources available there. Like survival mode on mine craft. You start from earth and everything to be done on other bodies must be done by utilizing resources and crafting. Earth only has resources to build chemical rockets, but we can establish mining on other bodies and bring back resources (eventually unlock automated mining?)
Give us a REASON to get to other places, to establish space stations in orbit and on the surface of other bodies.
Add special navigation/landing abilities with the addition of gps satellite modules in a particular sphere of influence? No manual landing needed when 3 gps satellites are in orbit?
Hardcore mode: crew lifespan limits? Colonization allowing for new crew to be generated on other planets/moons, requiring large amounts of work in he form of rare fuels and many different modules landed on a body to support life. Hyper sleep modules for endgame?

When you do space missions most things end up beinh imaginary or decorative. It would not be hard to add and even if it was just for "roleplay" things like orbital photography or readings from "sensors" and samples would be very interesting. So would errors with the "ship". Just anything that would help With the feeling of a space agency and not just doing things for imaginary roleplay reasons

I forget to say subassemblies like simple planes

Career mode
Can only launch from Smearth (maybe build bases which let you launch from other places)
Must spend money for parts.
Reputation: gain from doing cool stuff like moon landing, lose from failed missions where rockets explode
Science: start off with basic parts, gain science points from missions. Spend these to unlock new parts.
Contracts: get extra cash by doing stuff for companies and stuff e.g putting up a satellite, taking space tourists to places.
Also: nuclear reactor, dwarf planets + Mars moons, Autopilot or at least setting that tells you what to do (like in the tutorial missions). Ability to have multiple command pods for Apollo style missions. -

The huge rocket boosters are too powerful and I cant stop them early. Can you make a medium and small booster also? Thanks!
CAREER MODE! :D >>> Also, I was thinking about career mode with money and unlocking parts and grants and research and stuff like that. It makes the game more like a story than a sandbox. PLZ add it in :(

I want to see these parts to make the game more fun. Heat shields"so deadly re entry could be added", solid rocket boosters, larger and smaller parachutes, scientific devises so that a career mode could be added similar to kerbal space program, farings, struts, more motors and fuel tank sizes, more rover wheel options, reusable landing legs a double to single coupler, also new moons for every planet and an ocean on earth

I would really like it if I could build a moon colony or something, and then I can build and launch rockets from there. Yes I know I can already launch from there, but how are they launching? Is it aliens doing it? Just a thought I came up with. Also, I would like it if I could make the ports for docking already docked to something when building, so that when I'm in space, I can let it go.

You are given a piece of text telling you that your people have begun a Space Program to colonise the stars.
You start off with a small budget and limited, crappy pieces. Your objective is to get ships up into space and colonies onto planets to generate more funds and 'Knowledge', to unlock new parts.
Your ultimate goal is to build a large spaceship containing complex peices and send it out of the Smolar System (presumably to colonise a Smearth-like world)

They should also have something where they can level up existing parts and make them more durable, faster, more effective etc...

We don't need to clone KSP...

I have to say mining would be fun but the money aspect would make it a huge planning game which in my opinion would take alot of fun out of it

we start out with a set amount of money and we can build rockets and bases. We can earn money by completing missions from SMASA or mining on earth or other planets by setting up mineral wells and stuff or by having people live in your bases and paying rent.

So you start off with like a thousand pounds or dollars and earn more by completing achievements (ie reach space +500, crash into moon +2000 etc) and parts cost money to buy also u accept contracts to put satellites into space and get paid more
