  4. Campaign/Career Mode

    Allow a progression of part unlocking, earning money for doing missions, and requiring that rockets cost money. Why? A sense of accomplishment, mostly!

    It would be another major feature to help this game to feel less just like a game about building rockets and more about actually doing things with rockets.

  6. Let us recreate the older real life spacecraft, like the Apollo ones

    The ability to put in modular parts that come from older spacecraft and space shuttles. Including storage bays inside some of the parts would be great too

  7. Simple planes meets simple rockets at 60,000ft!

    Simple planes has no ceiling.. This is where simple rockets could continue. I imagine a campaign that would involve delivering a package to Mars..... designing road transportation that would launch an aircraft that would carry a rocket to 40,000ft then would launch to Mars... ... Upon reaching Mars it would release a plane which would respond to the Martian weather and gravity to deliver the package to Mars 101 airstrip. Different conditions for each planet and moon.   11. Request you'll retain some of math of SimpleRockets V0.0

    In the first (or second) release of SimpleRockets, I could place a wheeled rover (functional) via parachute on Uranus. Flight time: hours, course corrections tricky, but possible and extremely fun. Somehow this "end of the solar system" landing capability got lost in subsequent releases that concentrated on paint colors. If Jundroo has excellent, older code, hidden in a drawer somewhere, suggest you add it to the newest release you'all are planning. Thx.

  15. Add other space objects, combat, missions, etc

    You could add other space objects such as Moons for other planets, and asteroid belt Maybe. You could also add a combat system see you can fight other players, AI or even aliens! You could then add in campaign mode a space race setting where you could race against other players or AI to discover things like the Moon, Mars, excetera the fastest. In my final idea for now would be to make it so that if you beat the campaign mode you could restart with a slightly different solar system, adding new planets, starting on different planets, excetera.

  17. Ability to see planets from orbit/space/flight

    One of the things that makes the game visually boring and landing difficult is the lack of any way of seeing the planet you're orbiting from space. It would be nice to see the curving horizons from space, gradually taking up less and less space and being more curved as you go further and further away from the planet. As you approach the surface, the horizon could become a sort of distant mountains view, and the parralax between two or more layers could help guide the viewer to know how close they are to land.

  18. Manned Spaceflight, perhaps using the dummies from SimplePhysics or Dummy Defense as the astronauts?

    As Felipe Falange from Squad once said, "Kerbals make KSP more than just a game about spaceships." Right now, SR is just a game about spaceships.

    So we need some astronauts to make us care more about rockets. Right now, SR is not very emotionally investing. Having astronauts in the command pod would make me care a lot more about playing the game, and would really improve the whole experience.

  19. Rendezvous

    Rendezvous!
    the main feature would be docking, and undocking. So many real life scenarios require it (all of the apollo missions).
    Multiplayer rendezvous would be mind blowing.
