  1. More customization on guns

    Ammo Type Sim: Explosive bullets
    - If explosive = true, allow the user to define an explosive radius (explosionRadius = number), where all parts in the radius receive some percentage of the round’s damage based on the distance from the point of detonation. Cannot damage parts behind another part.

    Ammo Type Sim: Proximity fuse
    - (Requires explosive = true)
    - If proximityFuse = true, Enable proximityDetonationRangeMin and proximityDetonationRangeMax for guns.

    Ammo Type Sim: Smart (guided) bullets
    - If smartAmmo = true, Enable lockTime, minRange, maxRange, maxHeadingAngleAdjustmentRate, maxVelocityAngleAdjustmentRate, and maxTargetingAngle for guns
    - Can be shaken off and can be distracted…

    Match tournament brackets based on the game experience the players have -> new players start with other new players, etc.

  4. What if you can make a void plane that can get out of the void too

    So if you make a plane that can shoot into the void and get out some how and it lands where you launched

  7. Rockets with customizable thrust

    As of now, unguided rockets have a fixed thrust, which makes it harder and less practical in more creative uses. I think perhaps it is a good idea to enable maxForwardThrustForce for unguided rockets, so that they can perform better in more creative usages (JATO, solid rocket engines on missiles, rocket-powered engines, SRBs, etc.)

  8. Activation Groups and Logic Gates

    For basics, is it possible to implement a basic "AND" and "NOT" gates into activation groups? I think it would help building more creative designs. For example, with the AND gate it is possible to build better ejection seats, while with the NOT gate it would be possible to build functions that are mutually exclusive, such as firing rates on guns, or reverse thrusters on jets.

  9. Update SimplePlanes to Unity 2017

    I suggest that SimplePlanes be updated to the latest Unity engine for better performance, easier to work with engine for mods, and other things.

    I know that updating the engine to the latest version would very much likely break some(or all) mods that are currently working with SP, but that's just a sacrifice that needs to be made to better SP.

  10. Add some small but very helpful things (exhaust, smoke pods, a flat world option)

    the first 2 are duh but what if you made a option where you had the option to spawn in an endless flat map for testing (preferably make this map like the salt flats)

  11. Add Helicopter Parts

    Simpleplanes needs rotor blades and stuff because helicopters are way too complicated to make when it comes to making the rotors and stuff like that; Yes people make them all of the time but it would be nice to have helicopters that actually use rotor blades and stuff like that.

  15. Maybe add customization options for guns more features, read for more info

    Maybe adding customization for belt(IE individual rounds), and what order they fire, fire rate, how much damage what shells do, speed, spread, tracer color(or no tracer), and a converge distance. I feel like at least some of us would like to have more customize-able guns, if we had features like that better quality builds(and some Over-powered builds), would be easier to make. round types with HE we should be able to customize radius, and penetration(same with frag types), and have that damage a separate damage, different MMs of rounds, I know it's a lot but I believe in the Simple…

  18. Add Turbine Powered Propellers

    Instead of having the piston engine sound effect, there could be a new propeller gearbox that is placed on a Blasto VTOL engines (like an Apache style turbine setup) and power the props.

  19. How about a logic update

    It could have a sensor that can pickup things from set distances controlled (set by our user) and can be turned into a input. Memory bits such as and gates, or gates, xor gates ect. This is all inspired by scrap mechanic but I would enjoy it a lot it would allow people to make hover craft, ai that can know what's it is going and more.

  20. Camera Output (screen)

    I think they should come out with some sort of screen which input can come from a camera. This would be useful in making cockpits, so that the pilots can see where they are going in case they cannot see out.
