  1. Be able to leave builds loaded in

    It's be great to be able to launch a rocket, get it up into an orbit or such, then be able to leave it loaded in. That'd open the possibility of loading in another rocket to do a refuelling or rescue mission, or a space station which you can dock too and so forth.

  2. Walk about mode

    There needs to be a walk about mode where you can leave one vechile and get in another. In simple planes I've allways wanted to be able to leave my plane and get into my car, drive to another plane and get in it, problem I'd you can only spawn in one vechile at a time, so can there please be some type of walk about mode where you can leave your craft and walk about?

  4. Asteroid Fields

    Make asteroid fields with many randomly spinning and different velocities of travel to make the user perform complicated maneuvers to avoid collisions with their spacecraft if they wish to go through the asteroid field. They could have different difficulties depending on the the location within the solar system, with some very light fields and others that are practically suicide to travel through.

  5. MaxQ Effects

    I’m guessing that this might be hard to implement but if you find this interesting I think it would be cool to have an option to turn on a MaxQ effect to add a level of difficulty to the game.

  6. Nuclear Thermal Rockets

    They are actual technology, we just don't use them because if the rocket has a failure and explodes, radioactive matter is thrown in the atmosphere. But if built and used only in space they would be really viable.
    Their efficiency would be higher, with higher exhaust speeds, and it would not need oxidizers. 2 fuels would be hydrogen deuteride (HD), for high efficiency, and methane (CH4) for higher thrust (methane NTRs would be the engines with higher thrust in the game. They would need large radiators to dissipate the heat from the fission reaction.

  7. Engines

    Why don't you guys make more rocket engines with different amount of fuel, how strong is it... like this cool one, the engine accelerates ions using electrostatic forces (just an idea). Little more of suggesting: add good engines sound to it. ;)

  9. Add custom fuel types

    What i mean is that yo can chose solid/liquid the weight and how much thrust it produces along with maybe the chemical compostion or some other stuff then you can name the fuel and either use it on your craft or share it with friends! If you made the fuel a higher wait it might increase the thrust for instance so you couldnt just make wait 1lb and thrust 99999999999 newtons, it would calculate how heavy 99999999999 newtons would be.

    weight+ = thrust+ or something like that
    plus selecting liquid/solid/some other types of fuel.

  11. Adjustable structural parts

    There should be options for trusses and structural fuselages that can be adjusted similar to fuselages in Simpleplanes. They should also have shape options, like hexagons and octagons for replicas of things like the ISS.

    Maybe add some guns and missiles to put on your ship (Like Kerbal Space Program mods) and some UFO bots to shoot down would be pretty neat.

  15. Make sure you have a VERY customizable Controll scheme.

    So that you can add/remove joysticks and throttles and buttons. Also you should be a letter to change wether the button / throttle / joystick stays in the position you last left it or turns off.

    I would really love this because for the more interesting builds the limited Controll of simple planes was not enough.

    Rockets/Module can dock there, the bombay door can be opened, And we can select which side have the bombay door, the bombay door can also break off if we're going too fast, or it can also explode and expose the item inside if we didn't cover it with Heat shield

    Ya know how you have mods in ksp i would like those in sr2 so the devs wouldnt need to add parts to much well have mods

    Similar to KSP, the staging should consist of a stack of icons each representing an individual part. Those icons should be toggleable so the user can create more complex designs.
