  2. SimplePlanes struts and wires

    Wires and metal struts that are much lighter than the standard building block and can be stretched between any attach points.   3. Clear and See through Water

    SimplePlanes is a Great game for any devices including computers And mobile devices, but the problem is that (if this included in PC) in mobile devices the water is not see through so if you would download or make a submarine yourself is that it Will be useless because you cannot see the submarine or put it in chase Cam. So Jundroo, i recommend that in the next update the water is clear and cannot change chase Cam to orbit Cam and that includes PC and Mobile updates TNX

  4. Cockpit Settings

    I think we should be able to do more than 'set as main cockpit' in cockpit settings. it would be nice if we could set up things like:

    -Aircraft type(air, ground, ship, etc...) so spawned AI/destroyer can choose which weapon to use, and player can use inferno instead of Air-to-air missile against ground crafts

    -Autopilot mode types(if your aircraft is heli/VTOL, you can use hovering instead)

    -Whether Activation 8 is on by default or not

    -Whether dethrottling to 0% activates brakes or not (the current game does that)

    -Whether pressing Brake dethrottles engines to 0% or not (this one, also)

  5. Add/Fix New Sounds

    New sounds:
    -Touch down sounds (for water, dirt, runway, and carrier)
    -Crash/explosion sounds
    -Weapons releasing

    Fixed sounds:
    -Guns (more like 50 cal and a Vulcan canon)
    -Engines (more realistic)
    -Damaging parts (as in bullets hitting metal)

    Extra:
    Smoke (not really sound but for touchdowns or burnouts)
    Break where it doesn’t cut throttle

    Pretty simple, but would REALLY help the game out.

  6. Option to change from imperial system to Metric system.

    Being able to change from miles/hour and feet to say Kilometers/hour to meters would make the game a bit more userfriendly for those who are not used to the imperial units.

  7. Physics Update

    Simple Planes is a great game, however it's accuracy in game physics and fluid dynamics isn't the best. Shippy456 states, "Due to my knowledge of very basic physics and fluid dynamics, I have become somewhat concerned about Simple Plane's physics and and it's drag model." WNP78 also describes, "Simple Plane's physics are definitely not as realistic as can be. They are pre-computed for each part at the start of the game and not updated if the craft's structure is changed. Parts which have no drag, when moved into airflow, will continue to have no drag.   10. Programmable Peices

    I would like something similar to a command block in minecraft, a block that when you open its settings you can enter code,so you can make vehicles perform autonmous functions. For example, lets say im making an autonomous vehicle. I can program it so if it detects one of the buildings in front of it, it will turn around. Or maybe configure the code to lock onto a target and turn certian rotators so the gun they are attached to will be pointed at the target.   11. "waterDisablesMissile" Xml attribute

    In the current state if a missile touches water it gets disabeled, no questions asked. (the problem here is that it also happens even if the missile hasn't been launched yet)
    So my suggestion is that we add an XML attribute to disable this restriction, that would allow for custom submarine launched ballistic missiles even after the submarine has submerged and resurfaced.

  12. Add reattach feature (which is currently on PC/Mac) to mobile

    For those who don’t know, on PC/Mac, there’s a feature in the designer where if you select a part and press shift+K, it unattaches from all it’s connection points, and reattaches to all parts which are touching it. This feature is really useful in situations where you’ve nudged a part miles from where you attached it, and you want to reconnect it where it is without moving it, or when the mirror tool is being faulty and it hasn’t connected the part you mirrored properly.
    This feature isn’t on mobile, which is kinda hampering, as it’s almost essential for details…

  13. Fuselage Tubes with rounding radius or Custom procedural parts.

    What we really need for making detailed fuselages with interiors: ability to make empty inside fuselage blocks in a couple clicks. New part or as option for current fuselage block - no matter. As additional options to tubes we need adjusting rounding radius, may be even placing rounding point on specific place of fuselage parts. Also, for tubes, we need ability to choose wall thickness in 4 places.

    There is another way, more complex, but it opens huge amount of opportunities to all users. Custom part. When you use it you can build any shapes by determining where and how…

    Once upon a time, there used to be Crash Dummies in SimplePlanes.. sadly they were removed as of I think either the 1.3 or 1.4 update, I forget which one.

  15. Flaps input

    VTOL for flaps is very common input among almost all planes in the website. What if there's an actual flap input and flap buttons in-game with arrows up and down. Increments are 25%. If we want to fully extend flaps, we should able to click the buttons 4 times, if we want half, then twice or quarter flap, then once. This feature should be added to wings as well as on the XML codes so we can both make flaps on wings and on custom flaps using rotators rather than pulling down VTOL slider.

  17. More realistic engines.

    I think that the in game prop engines are a bit unrealistic.
    Here's a few ideas.
    Engines have to / can be turned on and off. Not just with activation groups, but differently.
    instead of stopping, engines would idle.
    MOAR SPINNERS. Different option for the prop spinner. None, Cone, WWII, Heli.
    Turboshaft engine, for helis. Can be made extremely large, produces lots of torque, takes a while to wind up.
    Oil temp, psi,
    Torque, I don't know if this is in game, but it would be interesting. Bigger props have more torque.
    Customizable prop shape? Experimental idea, possibly like wings. …

  18. For the next update..

    I think we should have sonic booms. when a certain aircraft (or any vehicle) reaches supersonic, i think it would be pretty nice to have a sonic boom. It adds a more realistic feel for the game.

  20. A module to add failures

    It would be a pre flight page. You could select multiple parts and set the reliability from 100%-0% and the part could explode, fail and not move, or just completely fall off. They would be selected at random based on your selection. But it would add a realistic feeling to the game. You never know when your going to make it back to base safely or put it in the dirt.
