Replace cycle buttons with drop-down menus.
I'm tired of having to repeatedly press a button to get the fuselage block corner or camera view I need. I think drop-down menus would work better with this game.

Working Wheels
A wheel that actually works, Unlike the ones in SP that cant do a 60* incline. You cant crawl over rocks or anything with the ones in SP.
I'd like to see real wheels, ones that can do things like climbing rocks, and 80* inclines.31 votes -

Ships would need to have a connection with smerth that could be blocked by planets. You would need to have satilies to move the signal around the planets. There could be different levels of difficulty which would of let a signal pass through different levels of planet. The signal would also get weaker over distance (this could also be adjusted), so you would need higher levels of dishes or satilites every few planets. This would require infrastructure for long distance flights which would mean the players would not be able to jump straight to interplanetary landings, and make it a…

Accident scenario
We should be able to set in the settings some events we want to happen at random moment during our flights like
- engine failure
- engine on fire
- ennemi agression

Combined Control Surfaces
In-game wings with combined control surfaces could be useful to build a Rafale or a Eurofighter Typhoon. It would also be useful for high maneuverability planes - like a Blue Angels F-18 - so we could combine roll and flaps (VTOL, Pitch or Trim) or other control surfaces.

New propeller models, Not engines, The optional propellers.
Just more detailed propellers to fit all kinds of planes, example: A mix between warbird propeller & schmitar.

Camera Shake
The current videos that you have posted about the game look a little off, and after some thought, I decided it could be fixed with a camera shake. You should add a visual effect where the camera shakes at high accelerations like KSP. It isn't something that would be very hard to do and it would make the game more immersive.

Auto docking
On the aircraft you can salect a space station and a diagram of the station will apear so you can salect a docking port on the station. Then when you are in a certain distance from the stations a auto dock button will apear than it will auto dock and it will useing the rcthrusters on your aircraft and auto dock to the docking port you selected. For people who can’t dock but you can dock hanualy if you want.

Cooperative Simultaneous Building
Make it so two players connected by Steam, LAN... can access the same building hangar and build the same rocket simultaneously. It would speed up construction and it would allow new players to learn easier without having to access communities like Reddit or such that may scare them off at first glance. The only issue I can think of is lag.

Uses for water
Okay, so SR2 will also have water on Smearth (as we have seen). However, in SR1 you couldn't do anything with said water. I suggest that SR2 has mechanics like recolecting water and using it for various purposes. I think it would increase the utility of rovers and other non-space exploration units.

Timers and sequences.
I would love to see timers and and or sequences in SP. Like an extra option in the part configuration panel so there'd be a way to make more automated and complex planes e.g
Activates AG1
small rotator turns 40 degrees
2 seconds later a piston extends to it's set parameters ect ect.

Add a flight model to SR2 for lifting body and winged vehicles
Simulating flight physics in atmospheres would allow for replicating SSTO designs like the X-15, or testing and designing fictional ones.

I'd love to suggest tweakable turbofan engines in SimplePlanes
Create Turbofan engines with a lot of tweakables, what angle the attachment pylon is at (Forward, backward, and even tilted to the sides!) as well as having an adjustable size of the pilot itself and the main jet engine with the outer fan having an adjustable size!
