At least local multiplayer, so we can try to crash into each other, and bomb our bases.
I mean, so we can have 100% friendly races, and perfectly safe stuff like that!2,484 votes
When building a large rocket it is hard to determine which object my current selection should connect to. A confirmation box (a box with tick/crosses for valid edges, greyed out for no connectivity) of which edges need to be connected. If one edge is only possible then the confirmation message could be ignored (nose cone). This idea could also be used to sharing fuel tanks so you could make 1 big tank for an engine either horizontally, vertically or both.
This will add rigidity to tall rockets where there is only one connecting edge at the top of the segment.1,238 votes

Basically, the way guns work right now seems to destroy the whole plane in a couple hits, I think it would be more interesting if part damage was a thing. Basically, if a wing was hit its drag would increase for that wing only, making flight more difficult, if it hit any part with fuel it would leak (or explode if damage was high enough), if a part with animations (landing gears, rotators and air flaps) the animations would play slower, making landing difficult, and if an engine was hit, it would burn and produce less thrust. So basically, one shot won't completely decimate a plane, but make it harder to fly, so if you get hit you could still win. (this would also be on enemy fighters)

Give us an astronaut in the capsule in sandbox mode. Let us take him to the smoon and other smplanets to walk around, etc. We could keep track of his accomplishments. Try and build his career. If the unfortunate happens and he doesn't make it home from a mission? Would add extra considerations for aborting missions, potentially forcing decision points for his safe return.860 votes
You should make a campaign mode, for example: you have a certain amount of money to build a ship. Then you need to complete different objectives and missions (such as: achieve orbit on smearth, or: land on the smoon) to get more money to build better ships.
The main goal would be to build a space station where you can refuel your ships and research new parts.
Or you could try to build a space station on the smoon.747 votes
Include / Create a city with skyscrapers or bridges to make for a more interesting and challenging flight environment. Maybe even a cave to fly through.705 votes

A large box shaped part in which you can put your rover so when you land it opens up and the rover comes out.
make it so you can shut the cargo door and fly back with the rover.567 votes
The pencil could make lines across the aircraft body and the paint bucket could fill the lines with a specific color. Or, you could use a sizable paintbrush to do more "special" painting. Vote if you agree!486 votes
1. Tank/ship cannon with ability to change AP/HE shells during "Fly" session.
2. Swash plates, engines and blades for helicopters.
3. Bombsight. Optics for crosshairs with zoom.
4. Adjustable tank chassis.(rollers size, type and count; tracks width; suspension type, e.t.c.)
5. Rocket engine with no air needed and low fuel efficiency.
6. At least two torpedoes.482 votes

So you can just tell the game what to do, such as:
1) Increase throttle to 100%
1) Activate launch stage
2) Fly for 20 seconds
3) Activate next stage
4) Turn to 45 degrees
5) Fly for 10 seconds
The ability to launch rockets in a world where your friends can race or contribute towards your space programe. This would become more fun if you could dock and build space station. Wether you play co-op or competitively is up to you and your friends. See which one of your group is the rocket scientist.319 votes

You can e-mail rockets, why not have a large database with rockets that people have built that can be voted for relevance.305 votes
add flames to entering the atmosphere at high speeds, add watery areas to smearth, and proper areodynamics(planes)294 votes
Would be useful for lunar/interplanetary trips. The ability to see your periapsis in an encounter before arriving at the SOI, being able to see your trajectory around the sun while still in a planet's SOI (for making use of the oberth effect). This would also allow accurate slingshots.282 votes
At the end of a flight (exiting or wrecking) I would like to see stats from the flight, such as: Time of Flight, Distance Flown, Highest Altitude, G's Endured, Top Speed, etc..
This could just be a tiny little summery of your flight, but I think it would be neat and effective to give us an idea of our progression as builders/pilots.267 votes
