  3. Throttle resolution

    Much more resolution is needed on the throttle, say 5% or 2%. It is currently difficult to get a good landing with the current 10 throttle steps – the effect of which is amplified with the smaller engines. Also, 10% jumps can make a stack unstable (mine actually break).

  4. Modify the ship editor to allow a "copy and paste" function.

    Modify the ship editor to allow a "copy and paste" function for ship sections. This would speed up large builds enormously! Perhaps by dragging or building the desired section into a box area at the side of the screen, then a button to 'print' replicas.

  5. Add Chromecast support when the SDK is available.

    Add the ability to cast the live view to the TV and use the phone as the controller and display the map view.

  6. Smupiter altitude challenge

    Seems simple enough, and based on my experiences escaping from SOI should be neigh impossible.

    It would also push rocket builders to the limit; it takes careful design to prevent the rocket from crushing itself prior to takeoff, careful balancing of thrust to prevent it accelerating too fast in atmos, thruster positioning to prevent it ripping itself apart... I can land anything, anywhere and if its an inner smanet, return my budding little commies back home again too, but i can't push past 3k above the surface.

    And I know of only one redditor who has achieved 10k, and he's…

  10. Add a cheat menu

    The first simple rockets saw it challenging to land on certain planets without building a huge rocket or using the ion engines. Many people want to explore without worrying about running out of fuel or losing battery too quickly. That's why I think there should be a cheat menu so we can do stuff like:
    1) Infinite fuel
    2) Infinite electricity
    3) Infinite monopropellant
    4) Set orbit
    5) No heat limit (if there are deadly reentry effects)
    6) Hack gravity
    All of these could be disabled in missions and optional in campaign (if there is one)

  11. Add an Orion Nuclear Pulse Engine

    Add a Orion Nuclear Pulse Engine, that is fast, but heavy, not as manuverable as regular liquid engines, can't use liquid fuel (add new tanks for nuclear bombs, but they should be heavier and bigger than a normal liquid fuel tank) and you can't land with it ( because you can't land with an engine using nukesas propellants ,unless you want to land in an pile of dust, that was a planet before your arrival ) and if you try, the ship will explode

  12. Make the planets visible from space somehow.

    Perhaps use an image of the planet below, and it increases in size depending on how close you are to the planet. Would be very very useful for landings, and it would give a bunch more situational awareness in space, and make the game look better. Also, make the camera automatically point down to the ground. Landing upside down is disorienting.

  13. Implement science into the game

    If you do make a campaign mode, make it to where once you are in space, you have to conduct experiments like recording temperatures to obtain science. Once you have science, you can use it to research better parts.

  14. Change the size of struts

    So instead of making a ton of different struts just make a tool so you can resize the strut to fit your specific ship

  15. Allow rockets to go the other way.

    Have a way to set rockets opposite of each other. Have the thruster gauge work like a thermostat where you and be @ 100% or -100%.

  16. Relative velocity to target and a retrograde vector, Gravity, vector features

    I see you have a relative velocity, post that says completed. I have the newest update for android and when i look at the vectors i see the direction from your ship to target, this vector displays your distance value. Then i see a target velocity, this tells you what direction the targets moving in and at what speed.

    This as far as i am able to see does NOT tell you your relative velocity to target. These two things are not the same. When playing kerbal on the satellite docking rendevouz tutorial, you reach a point where to catch…

  17. Show the ships trajectory in the atmosphere

    I mean like show the expected trajectory, including atmospheric drag, it would make landing and atmospheric braking onto a target a lot easier.

  20. A "help" section, or an active reddit/r/simplerockets plugin in-game.

    I oftentimes find myself confused on where to find the latest and greatest news on the game, and finding peoples recommended rockets can be very challenging. Maybe a dedicated "share" and "help" menu could be added? You know, browse the forum from within the app, and view and download other users rockets to try them out for yourself, or modify them and call them your own.
