Cockpit control should have custom outputs and be controllable with mouse or direct keybinds.
The cockpit controls should be able to give an out a custom output which can then be used to control other stuff.
Example-
Instead of the Simple Throttle being just an indicator for throttle, that is bound to Throttle. It should be controllable with a mouse or direct keybind, and have a custom output, say "A", which in turn can be used to control other things.

The creation of more inputs. / Direct Inputs using keyboard.
Allow for parts to be controlled directly by a key or an axis, instead of using the base inputs.
Example- There is a hinge rotator I want to use. Instead of having to bind it to, say Pitch or VTOL, I want to be able to bind it directly to an axis of a controller or a key on my keyboard.

NEW WEAPONS AND TANKS TRACKS
Add new bombs,guns, missiles etc and the tank tracks could be added too, many players want it

autopilot pls small improvement
make autopilot keep the altitude you were at when you enabled it. its kind of useless because you slowly lose or gain altitude when using it. also make it so you can change vtol and trim while using it PLS

It would be nice if mobile devices (especially ios and apple products) had underwater camera by default because
Apple platforms limit modding almost to a tee, so mods such as underwater camera being a default feature would be kinda nice

Gyroscope Control For Mobile players
SP on mobile should have a gyroscopic control like tilting your mobile moves the plane (pitch and roll)
Just like in shooting games, where you tilt your phone and the aim moves.

Hud
With the new part update with the cockpits is amazing but I'm surprised no Hud or Heads Up Display was implemented which would have reduced cockpit parts by over so many parts

A decent looking airfoil
So far I'm fine with the current existence of all of those airfoil types, it didn't bother me a lot. But it would be better for you guys to make each airfoil a distinctive looks just like in real life. If so, then it would be also good for you guys to keep the good ol' rectangular airfoil. That's all I could say, thank you for your attention

Gun/Cannon Input Variable
With the recent (1.11) update (and several prior updates as well), most parts now have customizable input variables, allowing them to be triggered or activated by player inputs outside of the standard basic controls. For example, lights can be set to activate based on throttle input or airspeed, rather than only the activation groups.
The one major category of parts that lacks (and needs!) this feature is weaponry. Guns, rocket pods, and cannons can only be fired by specifically the FireGuns or FireWeapons inputs, respectively. While these inputs can also be used to control other parts as described above, it…

Real-time-strategy
Basically add a minimap into the game, and add an extra button to the spawn AI plane as "friendly". Then, the minimap allows us to order the planes to specific locations and attack all aircraft marked as "aggresive" or anything that you, the commander, attacks or anything that tries to shoot at you (like the Snowstone base)
So, we can have epic RTS action in SimplePlanes!
