Optimized Load Plane Menu
As I created more and more planes, I began to find it tedious to scroll through the large list. And if you're the kind of person who downloads lots of other user's planes, you know how long that menu can get.
The search bar helps, but I think it would be more convenient if you had the option to categorize your creations into some kind of sub-menu folder-like system, so you could quickly load up the creations you're looking for based on exactly what the creation is, or is meant for.

Lift Parachutes.
Parachutes that generate a little lift. Those long rectangular chutes. So we can make chute light props.

Tilt able gadgets, engines...
This would pretty much make my life so much easier. Angling shocks would simplify my suspension ideas. Angling engines would open up a new universe of creations, and angling rotators would revolutionize even more ideas!

What if I have a plane with green accents and I want green flames to shoot out of my jets/VTOL engines?

Ally- and enamy AI
Ok, so what if you wanted a wing man. AI that shoot down other planes and will follow the player. On sand box you can load the AI as the first person player. Ex: if I have a plane with a rotator gun on top or a weapon that uses vtol or trim the AI can control the plane while The player controls the gun.

AI programming
When you build a plane you can set up its AI. Some planes have engines that are activated on activation groups so if you could put in to activate group 1 immediately you could have much more freedom with AI. Another point would be the ability to adjust VTOL and TRIM, some planes have missile bays and it would be awesome if the AI could be told to open them when provoked or something along those lines

clear water will make subs a thing
smoke trails to make stuff look awesome
and resizable missiles to cram sum weapons into small builds without xml editing

Add in more types of weapons
The possibilities are endless! Resize able gun barrels, auto cannons, more variations of air to air / air to ground missiles, torpedoes, and bigger, wing guns. For example, lets say I want to make a Airacobra, but I want to put a 37 mm gun in the nose, well with resize able wing guns you can!

there can be so manny categories to better filter out the idea of what people are searching for on the site for simple planes

Design over view
An option to set a recorder for your plane like if you want to see your top speed,how fast or how slow the plane perform ice is ( aerodynamic,a elongation ratio ect.

More Ideas
For the editor
I think the rotation increments should be reduced to 45* instead of 90, so that non modders and mobile users can take advantage of the ability.
The maximum prop count should also be increased to 9, because there are numerous planes that use 7-9 blades (An70, Propfan, etc.)
The retractable landing gears should also be customizable, like:
A. Length
B. Wheel size
C. Wheel count (yup the N22B Nomad uses a single wheel nose gear)

Volume Control
Add an in-game volume controller. Sometimes, I would like to listen to music without my ears being blasted out by the sound of my engines. Also, there seems to be an annoying bug the lowers the volume of all sounds when you enter the game on iOS. When you exit, you once again get your ears blasted out because the volume returns to normal.

Skip to soonest encounter for your target
Please make it so when you target something theres a "Skip to soonest encounter" button. Once I waited 30 MINUTES for an encounter.
