  1. Ball Rotators

    A rotator where you can move in more than just left or right or around, so that creating helicopters and gun turrets is easier.

  2. Triathlon races

    A large leap but imagine a race where you need to drive on the ground through checkpoints then hit the water and navigate some more checkpoints until you take off and finish the race from there.

  3. VR support? (Samsung gear)

    Might not be the greatest for the building aspect but I would love to use the Gear VR and look around to try and fly my many crazy designs. Or use a flight stick / gamepad accessory so head motion is strictly for looking around the cockpit.

    Something that would allow inherently unstable planes to fly without falling out of the sky. Similar to the S.A.S systems in KSP

  8. New thumbnails

    You may have heard of a .dae file. It is sort of a cross between object model and a PNG, but what is cool about it is that its draggable, so you can orbit around it. It is web compatible, and if you download it, can be easily converted into a .obj file, allowing anyone to 3D print it. It retains full color, and allows to get a full view around the plane or vehicle.

  10. Russian Aircraft Carrier / New Combat Missions

    I would like to use my Sukhoi on a carrier based off of the Admiral Kuznitsov. This new carrier could also have it's own destroyers, which you could sink, along with the carrier. it would be just like the beast fleet, but Russian. This also brings me to a new idea; more combat missions. On the SP website, I see people constantly trying to make up new Jundroo war role-play things, which are just boring, with no actual combat interaction. I propose to Jundroo a new series of combat missions, which provide the player with a challenge of taking over…

  11. Make weapons enabled in auto-leveling mode

    So we can use rear turrets, rotatable cockpits (for bomb or missile aiming) etc. more easily and effectively.

  12. Archipelago

    An tropical archipelago with caves to fly in that are on the main island in the archipelago. There is an abandoned WWII U.S. Pacific themed airbase with 4 hangars and old watchtowers and two runways that are challenging to land on too.

  14. Length of Day...REAL TIME!

    Use player location to match the time of day they are currently in!

    or perhaps more realistically, a 'pause' time feature.
    I like flying at night, but every time I leave to make an edit to my plane, I have to change the settings to night all over again.
    just a small fix.

    Stuff like chairs, tables, windows, and hollow fuselages. People can already make interiors, but it should be much easier.

  16. 360 Cockpits

    Placing two of the bubble/canopy style cockpits back to back results in being able to see 360 deg while in the "cockpit view" camera mode.

  17. Add other space objects, combat, missions, etc

    You could add other space objects such as Moons for other planets, and asteroid belt Maybe. You could also add a combat system see you can fight other players, AI or even aliens! You could then add in campaign mode a space race setting where you could race against other players or AI to discover things like the Moon, Mars, excetera the fastest. In my final idea for now would be to make it so that if you beat the campaign mode you could restart with a slightly different solar system, adding new planets, starting on different planets, excetera.

  18. create a saveable upload queue

    Currently there is no way to save the uploaded aircraft description or pictures in a queue. It would be a great add. This would prevent users being forced to re-type an aircraft description ( some get quite lengthy).

  19. Some more stuff

    I think SimplePlanes as it is now is quite awesome, but I'd like to see something more from you. I know, you're a relatively small dev team, but hey! this is why outsourcers exist! Don't be shy to ask for their help. A very well known company (Wargaming, to be more exact) is outsourcing all of it's HD tank models (previously, the models were quite bad looking, kinda like humans in the infancy of 3D games). I'm sure there are enough guys out there which would surely volunteer and lend you a hand of help.
