  1. Improve the HUD, especially the crosshair.

    The current HUD is pretty poor, the crosshair especially looks very crude. Please add the option to customize the HUD from XML files. We should be able to choose the image used for the crosshair, and what size it should be. This should be a local user setting, so that each user can play with the crosshair he prefers.

  2. Lighting/environment map in designer

    The environment map/lighting in the designer is quite poor, with the lower half being a dirty yellow-green color. Please provide settings to set the environment map from an externally-loadable image.

  3. Make the designer background customizable, and remove the pedestal

    It would be so simple to give the user the option to change the background of the designer, to either a solid color or a skybox texture. Also, the circular pedestal serves no purpose and just takes up space in the screenshots and in design mode. Please remove it.

  4. Remove the 5-unit limitation of the in-game editor.

    It's annoying to painstakingly build modded parts, then not be able to tweak them in the editor because it would snap them back to max dimensions of 5x5x5. Why not set the max at a more reasonable value, say 100? It's not as if larger parts break the game engine.

  5. "Metallic" paint finish option

    We have flat, gloss, and semi gloss, but what if we had one that made it look like metal instead of just painted?

    Since this game is not rly a game it should has these standard elements for CAD software

    1 SYear = 1.2 Months = 36.52 days
    1 SMonth = 3 days
    1 SDay = 2.4 hours
    1 SmHour = 6 minutes
    1 SMinute = 6 seconds
    1 Smecond = 100 ms
    To convert from Real Units to Small Units:
    You have to divide the amount you want by 0.1.
    For example:
    24 hours to SmHours = 24/0.1 = 240 SmHours.
    And from Small Units to Real Units, you divide the amount you want by 10:
    1 SmHour to Hour = 1/10 = 1 hour.
