  1. Caterpillar Tracks and Vacuum-Optimized Rocket Engines

    Dear Jundroo SR2 Team

    I was thinking that it would be easier to traverse the terrain on different planets by using caterpillar tracks since they have a larger surface contact area than wheels. I was also thinking about adding an option to a rocket's control panel to make the engine optimized for vacuum performance. Lastly, I want to ask that Aerospike engines (linear and toroidal) be added to SR2.

    Thank-you for all your hard work, and keeping us updated with the latest improvements to SR2!

  2. antimatter fuel

    why not create antimatter fuel in SR2 ?
    it will last longer
    and more explosively

  3. How about a logic update

    It could have a sensor that can pickup things from set distances controlled (set by our user) and can be turned into a input. Memory bits such as and gates, or gates, xor gates ect. This is all inspired by scrap mechanic but I would enjoy it a lot it would allow people to make hover craft, ai that can know what's it is going and more.

  4. Asteroid Sampling/Grabbing Instruments

  5. Add some small but very helpful things (exhaust, smoke pods, a flat world option)

    the first 2 are duh but what if you made a option where you had the option to spawn in an endless flat map for testing (preferably make this map like the salt flats)

  6. Camera Output (screen)

    I think they should come out with some sort of screen which input can come from a camera. This would be useful in making cockpits, so that the pilots can see where they are going in case they cannot see out.

  7. A Robotic Arm

    Could you add a robotic arm like the Canadarm? It could be handy for picking up things, hanging on to other shuttles, and repairing satellites.

  8. Add more solar systems

    Make space exploration not only limited to our solar system, place more stars away with exoplanets to make the game more diverse. You must put a higher warp speed so that it does not take all the time necessary to go to another star! It could also be that when you reach another exoplanet you can colonize it and can launch from there.
    (Yes, this is my idea for SR but now for SR2)

  9. Improved Wings

    In the 4 years SimplePlanes has existed, wings have stayed the same. Now that every other part has been improved, here’s some ideas for wings:

    1- More realistic appearance. There are no rectangular airfoils in real life. Low-poly representations of the the current three airfoil options would be a vast improvement over the current wing shape.

    2- More adjustability. The current wings’ thickness cannot be adjusted, making them disproportionately small with large builds. The player should have the option to adjust the thickness at the root and the tip. In addition, the ability to adjust wing sweep at multiple points…

  13. Add Space Station Parts

    The ability to create space stations is something that every space explorer will strive to do, and if there’s useful parts to construct, it feels kind of empty. Docking Ports, Hab modules, and science labs are all things that would make fun space stations.

  15. add new parts and improve physics

    so I do not know if they asked for this (probably yes) but I ask them to add rotors and a better physics for aircraft like helicopters. new missiles, radars, cannon (I know to make a minigun shoot like a GAU-8 with mods but it would be interesting to have cannons in the game itself without needing mods).

  18. Add winches, Pulleys and Rope/Cable.

    EG- Steel-Cable, Nylon-Rope, Chains and Normal Rope.
    And A electric Winch/Gas winch
    To build things like dragline-Excavators and gliders

  19. Add custom fuel types

    What i mean is that yo can chose solid/liquid the weight and how much thrust it produces along with maybe the chemical compostion or some other stuff then you can name the fuel and either use it on your craft or share it with friends! If you made the fuel a higher wait it might increase the thrust for instance so you couldnt just make wait 1lb and thrust 99999999999 newtons, it would calculate how heavy 99999999999 newtons would be.

    tl;dr
    custom fuel types
    weight+ = thrust+ or something like that
    plus selecting liquid/solid/some other types of fuel.

  20. Better tournament matching
