Multiple Part Connections
Parts should connect multiple times( Not like in SR1 !!!). No Shaky rockets in 3d.

User created objects to explore
Allow users to create objects (Space station, asteroid, ...) which players have to detect (with a radar).
These objects would display a text when the player is close enough, or when he docks to it. When creating these objects, we could specify at which range players can detect it.This would make exploration much more fun.

Bombay
Rockets/Module can dock there, the bombay door can be opened, And we can select which side have the bombay door, the bombay door can also break off if we're going too fast, or it can also explode and expose the item inside if we didn't cover it with Heat shield

Make the game free
The reason why is because many people want the game to be free rather than having to pay. If it was free, it would be more enjoyable also more people would play it.

make the map more bigger
I think you can make more than one sector in the map so the player can exploring in the large map and it will be the good experience for them. In addition to the planet, you can make an "alien planet" which have city and creatures in there so it will be fun in your game!!! :)

Make sure you have a VERY customizable Controll scheme.
So that you can add/remove joysticks and throttles and buttons. Also you should be a letter to change wether the button / throttle / joystick stays in the position you last left it or turns off.
I would really love this because for the more interesting builds the limited Controll of simple planes was not enough.

Add RTG's, or Radio Thermal Generators: But make them interesting....
Stolen directly from KSP, yet none the less- a needed element to the game (if electricity is involved).
The RTG would constantly produce power, albeit at a rather slow rate. Eventually, as with all radioactive utilitys, it would wear past its usefulness and become a threat to the space craft its self- leaking or something of the like. Even if this is not realistic, it would add flair to an otherwise monotone utility....4 votes -
Modular Sattelites
Add remotely controllable satellites that you can add solar panels and telescopes to, not like sticking a module to a rocket and blasting it into space, to never be seen again

Allow users to disable some colliders
Give the user the ability to disable colliders. Users should be given an option in design-time to "draw" a box around certain connected parts that disable colliders. The result will be dramatic, allowing large and complex builds to behave like small builds.

A fully featured UI.
A readout for engine temps, craft temps (for reentry and lift off) thrust levels, cabin O2 levels if that's a factor, etc. I think it would be helpful and if people don't want it, just put an option to have a minimalistic HUD.

Make a native and functional PC port
Simpleplanes’s pc version is underwhelming and lacks cohesive support for video settings, hotkey changing, and interface controls that many other games have as a default (the last time I played, for instance, Ctrl-Z was basically broken and arrow keys were practically unusable in the editor. Parts are still controllable through the unintuitive pitch-roll-etc settings instead of just being bindable to a key. Menus that should have been dropdowns just cycled through options instead, which is ok on mobile but horrible on pc. UI scaling is basically nonexistent).
I hope that the devs do these things better in SR2.

Be able to have drills and ores!
To be able to drill and mine ores from the body and then are able to convert it to fuel. But to find it you have to launch a scanner into orbit in under certain orbital parameters to find it. Also add a career mode to challenge the user with finance RandD, reputation Science credits and more!
