Zoom
Cockpits and cameras should have the ability to zoom in and out. Users should be able to define preset FOVs and cycle between them.

Rangefinder
A rangefinder would be very useful for aiming artillery, among other things. This could be as simple as when the rangefinder is enabled, any targets in the FOV are tagged and have a distance readout, no matter how far they are. Or it could be a proper parallax or laser rangefinder with a telescopic sight.

X-ray view with colour-coding
The X-ray mod is invaluable to see the internals of a build and for part placement. It would be terrific if this could be merged into the base game, with this enhancement: the ability to colour-code parts by attributes like massScale, fuelPercentage, deadWeight, etc., one at a time. Meaning, if I select massScale as the attribute I want to see, the parts are shaded with deeper shades of red for greater massScales.

Configurable engines
In addition to the predefined engine types, there should be an engine that takes these inputs: airBreathing (true/false), thrust, fuel consumption. If airBreathing is set to false, it should function both in space and under water. Would be great for spaceships, ships, and submarines, and would mean that iOS users can have "modded" engines.

Configurable launchers
At present, if I want a 60-shot bomb launcher, I need a minimum of 121 parts -- one for the container, 60 detachers, and 60 bombs. It would be great to have a "launcher" part that takes these inputs: ammo type (bomb, subassembly, etc.), muzzle velocity, and fire rate. The ammo should be instantiated at the time of firing, to keep the part number down.

Rotator, piston, detacher, and pylon improvements
Detachers, pylons, rotators and pistons with zero wobble. I.e. if I attach an external fuel tank to a shuttle using detachers or pylons, or a bomb to a detacher, the attachment should be rock solid.
Rotators and pistons should be precisely controllable, to a fraction of a degree.
Pistons need to be attachable at both ends using joints, so that we can use them to raise/lower things like gantries, booms, cannons, landing gear, etc.
A ball-and-socket rotator that can be rotated in two axes -- this would be great for turrets and artillery, among other things.

Glowing paint
It doesn't even have to be a true emissive material or have a halo, we just need the ability to set the ambient value to 1. I bet most people would absolutely love this, as it would allow creating Tron-like builds.

Subassemblies that retain their identity
I.e., once a subassembly is attached to a build, it can still be treated as one part with one attachment point. For instance, if someone adds a "cockpit" subassembly to a build, it appears in a list of subassemblies that the current build uses. The user should then be able to select that entire assembly by clicking on the list, and move/rotate/delete it like a single part. This could probably most easily be done using a new attribute on the Part tag, e.g. subAssemblyName, or you could have a new tag SubAssembly that contains Parts.

Damage proportional to massScale and block size
The damage resistance of a block should be proportional to the massScale and size of that block. It would take the realism of the game to the next level. At present, an ultralight aircraft weighing 500 pounds and a gigantic cannon weighing a million pounds have the same resistance to fire, which breaks immersion.

Engine Activations
I just want to make the engines cooler and making a more specific procedure!
So my idea is you should make a new on flight tab for engines! The number activation buttons depend on how many engines you have on your plane.
For example:
I have 4 engines on my plane right now, I open the tab and it shows me that all of the engines are off. I will hold each button for 3 seconds to turn all of them on!And this could be useful if an engine or two breaks off!

More Building Materials
I have played SP for about 2 years now and I think it needs a few more kind of material!
For example:
-Fuselage:
+Windows
+Doors
+Interiors (if needed)
+Glass fuselage
+Wiring system through the thing
-Wings:
+Many more types of wings(for fighter jets, commercial jets,etc...)
+Flaps, slats
+Winglets
And if you can, add a simulator to see if the aerodynamics work before flying it or posting!Thank you!

Re-design the wings
Re-make the wings so that the shape is more realistic, curved on the top and flat on the bottom, just like a real wing (at least the flat bottom ones.) Also make it so that the wings actually flex rather than pivot on a connecting point and so that when they’re connected to the body they don’t glitch out and flail everywhere at a certain speed. This is a very frequent set back in many user’s aircraft and I’d like to see the wing get an update.

A map of some kind to show where you and other locations are (i.e. Islands, battle Ships, etc.)

hooks, and a new mission
ad a grappling hook that could grab objects, and an bomber fleet takedown mission, where you have to intercept, and destroy a fleet of WW2 bombers

Add more solar sistems
Make the space exploration not only limited to our solar sistem, put more stars farther away with planets to make the game more diverse. You will need to put more warp speed so it does not take all the time needed to go to another star! It also could also be that when you arrive to another exoplanet you colonize it and can launch from it.

I want more maps for subs and cars so you drive around and blow stuff up or use a sub to distroy a unsuspecting target. Thx.

3rd Person Chrosshairs
As the title states, this would basically be the option to turn on 3rd person crosshairs. This would also be a good way to add a bomb crosshair.

"Featured" tag
When a plane is featured, it will receive a special tag called "Featured". this tag can not be assigned or removed by normal users, and it does not count to the tag limit.
This will make looking for good looking planes easier because featured planes are already carefuly "nit picked" :)17 votes -
A little plane to show damage
A little that show damage on our plane. would be perfect with 1.7 version. the part add no color, when touch it get orange when really damage red and then black when destroy. it is like in war thunder. image of reference : search : war thunder in game, and take the second image and look at the little plane on the left.

add a video editor tool
It'd be cool to capture and review replay footage where you could change the camera angles around and export lag-free movie files
