Multiple planes and humans
So,there is no humans that steers your planes.What if add them?And make sure you can control they.Multiple planes is like a docking in KSP-you really need two ships.To control they synchronically(all at once) or one at once.

Night features
Include night features on planets. The side facing away from the sun would be darker. Would also affect the ability to use solar power.

Be able to build missiles that have explosive payloads, such as a re entry vehicle on a nuclear missile.

I suggest we the team creates a multiplayer system that allows Simple Rockets and Simple Planes (Mabye SimplePhysics) to be amble to connect
We can all join together on server concept connections with each other:We will be able to host public or private;local or internet.There will be passcode settings and options for the server.And we can Friend people to both work on a plane at the same time;IT WOULD BE EPIC:Disatvantages: It might take a while to develop this,and people might bully.(DONT BULLY!)

toggleInput
I've already made a forum post about this,however I had no luck in contacting the devs,so I'll just put it here also as some kind of insurance :P
Is there a command in the XML file which acts the same as Input,but works with a toggle system? I want to know this since I want to be able to extend and retract flaps/airbrakes on the push of a button.
In case I wasn't clear enough,I will give an example:

Stratosphere and Space!
When you fly really high, everything turns dark, engines stop working, and wings won't work too. Also you can go much faster when high, because there is less drag. And add some rocket engines to make rocket planes! Like X-15!

Add a cheat menu
The first simple rockets saw it challenging to land on certain planets without building a huge rocket or using the ion engines. Many people want to explore without worrying about running out of fuel or losing battery too quickly. That's why I think there should be a cheat menu so we can do stuff like:
1) Infinite fuel
2) Infinite electricity
3) Infinite monopropellant
4) Set orbit
5) No heat limit (if there are deadly reentry effects)
6) Hack gravity
All of these could be disabled in missions and optional in campaign (if there is one)10 votes -
Guns should have recoil
If you have large enough or just enough guns, your plane should slow down and shake a little.

Block connection groups
To group your blocks in such a way that they do not connect.
For instance, a block set to connection group 1 will not connect to a block in connection group 2.
This is meant to aid in more compact builds where there are two very compact sections of a system that you don't want connecting to each-other.1 vote -

Make a more up-to-date update system for beta users
Google play has that new thing where users can sign up for a beta testing program for certain apps and games right from the download page for said app or game, I see it as an opportunity to give Android users easier access to the latest features that SimplePlanes has to offer. I don't know about iPhone users though...

Implement Screens/displays
I would really like if we could get some type of screens /displays that we can connect to cameras so we could make a closed cockpit and use the screens that are connected to the outside cameras to see. Instead of switching between views and such.

Way point controlled AutoPilot!
So here is the idea
There is a special editor place were you can make mini mission (or HUGE ONES)
in that editor it has a map of all of SP and you can place a way point at a starting position say Yeager airport numbered 1 the set the height of that way point if it is below sea level it just appears at 0ft
if it is below land level when the way point is placed over land it will just spawn on the surface of the land.

add cambered wings and more realistic aerodynamics
Every aircraft since the early 20th century has had cambered wings. I realize that the square wings are probably just easier but eventually having cambered wings would be a nice addition. Also, more realistic aerodynamics. I shouldn't be able to go 700 mph in a propeller plane at sea level and it should be pretty difficult to reach that speed even with jet engines at sea level.

More realistic damage
When planes get damaged like a wing gets hit from below it would bend upward from its connection points. Also parts are less likely to expload. They would be more likely to snap off because very few impacts would cause a wing to expload on the spot. A wing would be more likely to rip off if a cannon or another wing hit it instead of just exploding.
If a prop strikes the ground it would bend in or out depending on their location if the blades were wood they would snap leaving the center behind.3 votes -
