Engines
Why don't you guys make more rocket engines with different amount of fuel, how strong is it... like this cool one, the engine accelerates ions using electrostatic forces (just an idea). Little more of suggesting: add good engines sound to it. ;)

[Tip for SR2 and SP v1.8] What is the type of fuselage material?
We should choose the material type of the fuselage, so we can put the fuselage lighter or heavier!!! Such as the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and the Airbus A350-1000XWB which are made of carbon fiber !! Or like the SR-71 completely made of titanium !!!
Examples of materials: Steel, Iron, Aluminum, Carbon Fiber, Titanium, Wood, etc.

Combined Control Surfaces
In-game wings with combined control surfaces could be useful to build a Rafale or a Eurofighter Typhoon. It would also be useful for high maneuverability planes - like a Blue Angels F-18 - so we could combine roll and flaps (VTOL, Pitch or Trim) or other control surfaces.

Science instruments
Since career mode and mobile version in 2019, science instruments is the most important thing I want in Simplerockets 2, one of them example: antenna, antenna is a a pair of long, thin sensory appendages irony, and it sends signal radio wave, for example, if you found and took a picture of planet or etc. depends where you are, it should take a seconds to reach the center. And making connections with earth or satellite, if you lost connection you no longer to control the craft. And next example of science instruments is Dish, Dish is dish shaped type of…

Cooperative Simultaneous Building
Make it so two players connected by Steam, LAN... can access the same building hangar and build the same rocket simultaneously. It would speed up construction and it would allow new players to learn easier without having to access communities like Reddit or such that may scare them off at first glance. The only issue I can think of is lag.

Uses for water
Okay, so SR2 will also have water on Smearth (as we have seen). However, in SR1 you couldn't do anything with said water. I suggest that SR2 has mechanics like recolecting water and using it for various purposes. I think it would increase the utility of rovers and other non-space exploration units.

Timers and sequences.
I would love to see timers and and or sequences in SP. Like an extra option in the part configuration panel so there'd be a way to make more automated and complex planes e.g
Activates AG1
small rotator turns 40 degrees
2 seconds later a piston extends to it's set parameters ect ect.

Nuclear Thermal Rockets
They are actual technology, we just don't use them because if the rocket has a failure and explodes, radioactive matter is thrown in the atmosphere. But if built and used only in space they would be really viable.
Their efficiency would be higher, with higher exhaust speeds, and it would not need oxidizers. 2 fuels would be hydrogen deuteride (HD), for high efficiency, and methane (CH4) for higher thrust (methane NTRs would be the engines with higher thrust in the game. They would need large radiators to dissipate the heat from the fission reaction.

Side boosters
Side boosters like SpaceX dragon capsule. It can be helpful for landing on Mars or moons. And it should have powers like Real life, these engines should be able to be attached in side of command pods. or capsule. Example: when you land on Mars, it has thin atmosphere, so landing on it, it would be impossible with small engine with weaker thrust. So We need those engines. Small and strong. And I need it because of landing a rover. Like Curiosity landing.

Part Failures
You could make the game more realistic if you could add part failure as a mechanic.
For example:
- Engine ignition failure.
- Fuel flow failure ... etc."Part Failures" could be added as an option in the game and not an
in-built part of the game so that people will have the option to play the game normally or in a sort of "Hardcore Mode".Please kindly consider this suggestion. (Comment too.)

Add a flight model to SR2 for lifting body and winged vehicles
Simulating flight physics in atmospheres would allow for replicating SSTO designs like the X-15, or testing and designing fictional ones.

I'd love to suggest tweakable turbofan engines in SimplePlanes
Create Turbofan engines with a lot of tweakables, what angle the attachment pylon is at (Forward, backward, and even tilted to the sides!) as well as having an adjustable size of the pilot itself and the main jet engine with the outer fan having an adjustable size!

Particle Effects
I think it would be amazing to see sparks fly when you scrape the runway, sand clouds arise when driving or taking off on Maywar, Smoke from your as you brake hard and huge splashes as you plunge into the sea.

MaxQ Effects
I’m guessing that this might be hard to implement but if you find this interesting I think it would be cool to have an option to turn on a MaxQ effect to add a level of difficulty to the game.
